Well, nothing like dropping in to your own blog--nearly a year and a half later. I guess since no one reads this, I don't feel the need to send my thoughts out into the ether very often.

Lately:

Central Market just opened near P & P's apartment. We went the day it opened, braving the crowds, to spend two hours ogling the organic/homegrown/homemade foodstuffs. The bread and cheese departments alone are enough to make you weep for joy! The best part, free samples! If you want to taste something fresh (bread, olives, produce, bulk food), just ask for a taste and one of the hundreds of little worker bees will come to your assistance. It's enough to make local foodies jump for joy.
